YMC

YMC Motorcycles, known by its initials YMC (Yiannoulas Motor Company), was a Greek brand of vehicles that operated from the early 2000s until 2011. It was a part of the Athens-based Yiannoulas Group. Unlike some of its predecessors in the Greek motorcycle industry, YMC was not a traditional manufacturer. Instead, it focused on assembling a variety of vehicles, including scooters, motorcycles, ATVs, and buggies. Most of these vehicles were built predominantly in China or Taiwan, often based on YMC's designs. This approach was chosen because production costs in Greece were considered prohibitively high. However, specific parts for some models were indeed manufactured in Greece.

The brand's operation was relatively short-lived, as it encountered financial difficulties and was forced to cease business in 2011. This closure was attributed to the economic crisis in Greece at the time, which impacted many businesses and industries within the country.
